Hand Challenge

 

A focused workshop on building, posing, and retopologizing hands for character art.

In this training, I walk through how to block out a hand, what to look for in the major forms, and how to avoid common hand mistakes. You’ll also learn how to pose hands so they feel more natural and expressive, followed by a quick lesson on hand retopology in Maya.

Includes a 30-minute hand blockout lesson, a 1-hour hand posing lesson, and an 11-minute retopology lesson.
